Bethel is an evangelical church that meets in Clydach, near Swansea. ‘Evangelical’ means that we believe the Bible’s message is true and it is good news. That message is life-transforming — the Bible tells us that God is real, that He loves the world, and that He wants not only to change our lives, but to completely transform them for the better. Because Christianity is about what God has done through His son Jesus, it’s not a message about rules and regulations, but a message of hope and of freedom.

Almost all our members live in Clydach or the surrounding villages of Craig-Cefn-Parc, Glais, Trebanos and Ynystawe. We come from many different backgrounds, but we’re united by that life-changing experience of Jesus.

There’s something for everyone at Bethel, and everyone is welcome. Why not come along to one of our Sunday services? We’d love to meet you.

You cannot love the world and God. But we are ever amazed at God’s great love, that like the prodigal, he welcomed us home when we confessed our sins – like the Bible says, he is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
