“He is not here, for he has risen.” You are most welcome to join with us as we celebrate Jesus’ death and resurrection this Easter. Our main service is Easter Sunday morning at 10:30am – an all-age service followed by refreshments. We will also be meeting Easter Sunday evening at 6pm. If you are unable to be with us on the Sunday, we have a Good Friday service at 6pm. Everyone is welcome to all our services – just come along and you’re sure to find a warm welcome. All our services are at our building, Bethel Church, Clydach. After Easter, we will also be running a free three week course called Hope Explored.

Henry Olonga’s story

“I felt that God was calling me to speak out against Robert Mugabe ”

One day I read a verse from the Bible, and it said ‘Defend the cause of the fatherless, plead the case of the widow’. And in the very same verse, the Bible said, ‘Rebuke the oppressor’. The verse hit me between the eyes. I felt that God was calling me to say something, to speak out against this oppressor, Robert Mugabe. I saw the country desecrated by its rich and powerful leaders, I just felt I've got to speak out.
